Getting Connected to the Campus Networks
The University of New Haven offers high speed internet via wired or wireless connectivity throughout all residential and academic buildings. The University of New Haven network is free to USE, but not ABUSE. The University provides these networks for the enhancement of your academic pursuits. If you engage in inappropriate activity, your connectivity privileges may be revoked. For clarification on what is considered inappropriate activity, you can review the terms of the Acceptable Usage Policy.
Helpful Tips
ChargerGuest
ChargerGuest is an unsecured and open Wi-Fi network. This is designed exclusively for guests.
If you are a guest, click on the ChargerGuest SSID, once connected a window will pop up with further instructions. Please use this network at your own risk.
University Sponsored Housing
At University Sponsored Housing locations we have different wireless networks to provide students the best connectivity in those locations.
University Sponsored Housing includes Atwood and Savin Court.
Getting Connected via Ethernet
Students
Students have multiple options to connect via Ethernet in our dorms. Each dorm has different requirements. Please click the ethernet icon above for more information.
Staff
Staff should have available Ethernet ports in their offices. If you are unable to find your port or it does not work, please submit a help desk ticket by clicking the ticket icon above.
