Get Microsoft Office

Employees may install Office 365 on up to 5 devices for personal use.

  1. Click on the icon above

  2. Log in with your University email address and password

  3. On the Office 365 main page, click the “Install Office” link on the top right hand side of the page

  4. Click on “Office 365 apps”

  5. Once download is complete, double click on it and an installer window for Microsoft Office will pop up

  6. Go through all of the steps by clicking continue

  7. Type in your laptop account password

  8. The installation will begin, and when complete click the close button

  9. When prompted to move file, click “Move to Trash”

  10. Open one of the Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  11. Click “Get Started” and then “Sign In”

  12. Please sign in with your University email address and password

  13. Follow the prompts from there until it says “Start using Word”

  1. Click on the icon above

  3. On the Office 365 main page, click the “Install Office” link on the top right hand side of the page

  4. Click on “Office 365 apps”

  5. Once download is complete, double click on it

  6. Screen will pop up, click “Yes” and it will start the install

  7. Open one of the Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  8. Click “Get Started” and then “Sign In”

  9. Please sign in with your University of New Haven email address and password

  10. Follow the prompts from there until it says “Start using Word”

     

Get SPSS

License Key

NOTE: If you do not activate SPSS with a license key, you will not be able to use it!

  1. Click on the icon above
  2. Once the download is complete, double click it
  3. A box will pop up that has an icon labeled SPSS_Statistics_Installer, double click that installer
  4. Verify that you want to open the application by clicking “Open”
  5. Type in your laptop account password, and click “Install Helper”
  6. An IBM SPSS Statics pane will appear, click “Ok”
  7. Introduction: Click “Next”
  8. Accept the software license agreement
  9. Check “No” for python and click “Next”
  10. Click “Next” to install software in the default location
  11. Click“Install”
  12. When install is complete click “Done”
  13. The SPSS Licensing Wizard will open
  14. Click“Ok”
  15. Click“Next”
  16. Choose “Authorize user license”
  17. Click“Next”
  18. Enter the License key found below
  19. Click “Next” and should should say “Authorization succeeded
  20. Click“Next”,then“Finish”
  21. SPSS is now active and available in the IBM application folder

  3. A window will open, scroll until you see “IBM SPSS Statistics 25 – Windows Installer
  4. Package”
  5. Double click on “SPSS_Statistics_25_win64”
  6. Introduction page: click “Next”
