Roll Back Windows Updates - KB5033375

If you are experiencing issues connecting your Windows 11 device to ChargerWiFi after December 12, 2023, it may be due to a Windows update causing these issues. This update, KB5033375, is known to cause wireless issues broadly, extending beyond the scope of the University.

Step 1:

Plug in your laptop. As this process may take time, it is crucial your laptop is plugged in while the update is uninstalling. 

Step 2:

Go to the Windows start menu and type in Updates

Step 3:

Click Update History under More Options

Step 4:

Click Uninstall Updates

Step 5:

Click Uninstall next to the updates you wish to uninstall. Usually it is best to uninstall any updates from the last 7 days if you are experiencing an issue.

Step 6:

Once you see that the update is uninstalled, restart your computer. This process usually takes 10 – 15 minutes. Please be sure that your computer is plugged in and charging before proceeding

Once your computer restarts, please see if your issue is resolved.
