At University Sponsored Housing location we have different wireless networks to allow students the best connectivity in those locations. Please read below for more details.

Forest Hills & Savin Court

At these locations students will see a single wireless network named ChargerUSH. This is a specially designed network for University Sponsored Housing that improves performance for students at these locations. Students should connect their devices to this network using the pre-shared password key provided. This includes all devices such as laptops, mobile phones, streaming, gaming and more. The password is changed every academic year. It was/will be provided to you in an email at the beginning of the fall semester. If you cannot find the password, please email The Student Technical Support Office.

The Atwood

At The Atwood each apartment has its own individual Comcast Xfinity Wi-Fi router. This provides the best Wi-Fi experience for the specific design of the Atwood. Each apartment has a sufficient speed/bandwidth to support all your devices.


Students can connect all their devices to the network named after the apartment number they in which they live. For example, if you are in apartment number 400, then you would connect to Atwood400 wireless signal.

Troubleshooting

In most apartments the Xfinity Wi-Fi router is located in or on a metal box in one of the bedroom closets.
