Getting Connected to the Campus Network

The University of New Haven offers high speed internet via wired or wireless connectivity throughout all residential and academic buildings. The University of New Haven network is free to USE, but not ABUSE. The University provides these networks for the enhancement of your academic pursuits. If you engage in inappropriate activity, your connectivity privileges may be revoked. For clarification on what is considered inappropriate activity, you can review the terms of the Acceptable Usage Policy.

ChargerWifi

ChargerWifi is our most secure network for Students and Faculty/Staff, designed for all computers, mobile devices and tablets.

ChargerDevices

ChargerDevices is a secured wireless network for smart devices that cannot authenticate on ChargerWifi with your network credentials. Such as Rokus, Xbox, Apple TVs and more. You will need to register your device's wireless MAC address to obtain a unique password and connect to this network.

ChargerGuest

ChargerGuest is an unsecured and open Wi-Fi network. This is designed exclusively for guests, adjuncts and contractors. Please use this network at your own risk.

University Sponsored Housing

At University Sponsored Housing locations we have different wireless networks to provide students the best connectivity in those locations.

Students have multiple options to connect via Ethernet in our dorms. Each dorm has different requirements. Please click below for more information.

Staff should have available Ethernet ports in their offices. If you are unable to find your port or it does not work, please submit a help desk ticket by clicking below.
